Michael BERESFORD is PQI Director for the Asia-Pacific region, and brings to this position over 20 years of experience in the paint industry in Australia and internationally. This has included product research and development, marketing management in architectural coatings, and federal chairmanship of the technical education industry committee in Australia for the past 10 years. Today, in his PQI role, Mike manages the development of the PQI program across the region, building upon the educational literature, training and website activities operating in China, Australia and New Zealand, and increasingly in other Asian countries.

Ludger KÜPER has worked during his entire career (>20 years) in the coatings area. He held various positions in companies in Germany and abroad supplying raw materials to the coatings industry, but also spent some time on the paint manufacturing side. As PQI Manager for Germany and the German speaking countries he will firstly focus on educating DIY´ers on what quality means when it comes to paint.

Deborah ZIMMER Director of PQI Communications and Media Relations in North America, is on the cutting edge of the latest interior painting trends such as color, decorative techniques, gloss levels and quality issues. Debbie combines her knowledge of paint chemistry and her talent for decorating to educate homeowners on how and why to use quality paints and coatings when decorating the interior of their homes. Today, as part of the Paint Quality Institute’s public information program, Debbie travels the country appearing on television shows and conducting seminars for magazine editors and newspaper feature writers.

She is a member of the Color Marketing Group, the Home Comfort Council and was recently named as one of the top industry influencers in American Painting Contractor’s “Who’s Who in the Painting Industry”.
