What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a
popular way to distribute the latest information and content,
without requiring readers to visit a Web site or receive emails.
A RSS feed contains a headline and a brief description, and generally links to a longer article located on a Web site.
How can
I receive RSS feeds?
Software known as news readers or aggregators can collect, update and display
RSS feeds from any source. These readers can be downloaded to your computer, or Web-based versions can be used on the Internet. Here is a listing of available
News Readers.
How do I subscribe to
PQI’s RSS feeds?
PQI has four news feeds available, as shown in the right column. To subscribe,
click on any of the desired category links.
If you have a Yahoo news reader, click on the My Yahoo icon and follow the
necessary steps.
If you have another news reader, use the RSS icon in either of the following
ways:
- Drag the orange RSS button into your
news reader
- Copy and past the URL of the RSS feed
into your news reader.
You can also use the RSS feeds to display PQI content
on your web site. Please be sure to view our Terms
and Conditions prior
to doing this.
